Three fun-filled days in store for Fluorspar Festival revelers

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rosiclare's celebrates its 46th Fluorspar Festival Thursday through Saturday with a car show, bicycle show, contests, a carnival and musical entertainment.

The festival provides an opportunity for those in Hardin County to celebrate another year together and for those who have left to come home for a visit.

"I think everybody looks forward to Saturday for the parade. People come home to visit when we have the parade. And a lot of people enjoy the fireworks, we have a very good display of fireworks," Kay Tolbert said.

Nothing sets the tone for a fall festival like the smell of barbecue and the Rosiclare Masonic Lodge is cooking up 120 smoked hams for sale Saturday morning.

Sixteen years ago the festival organizers added a car show to the festivities and Tolbert said the car show on the river at the Rosiclare park has grown each year.

"The whole park is full of cars," Tolbert said.
