Jerry Fowler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jerry Fowler, 69, Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at his residence.

He was born in Harrisburg on Aug. 23, 1941, the son of Ernest and Shirley Estes Fowler. He was married to Marilyn Wiseman Fowler, and she survives. He retired from the military.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; one stepson, Robert J. Flanders of Mount Vernon; two stepdaughters, Sandy Clanin and Sherry Flanders, both of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Eddie Foy and Lenny Cattivera of Harrisburg; two sisters, Sue Ozment of Harrisburg and Lisa Lamert of Dunlap; one granddaughter, Samantha Clanin; and a nephew, Raymond and Becca McIntosh.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at the High View Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. John Rogers and the Rev. Tommy Dutton officiating. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Military rites will be bestowed at the church following the service. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral. J.M.
