OBITUARY: Ruby Katherine Fixsal

Ruby Katherine Fixsal, 67 of Shawneetown, passed away at her home 11:19 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015.

She was born on Feb. 8, 1948, in Centralia, the daughter of Angelo and Eileen Rosemary (Greenlee) Ballantini. Ruby married the late Robert Anthony Fixsal on July 18, 1964, and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2013.

She is survived by five daughters, Marcy and James Hall of Harrisburg, Angie Chmielewski of Harrisburg, Robin and David Duvall of St. Louis, Mo., Lisa Holloway of Ridgway, Shannon Smith of Shawneetown; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Ronald Ballantini. Visitation for Ruby will be held noon to service time at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Pastor Jack Hall will be officiating with burial at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
