LaHoma (Warford) Trigg

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[LaHoma (Warford) Trigg, 99, of 2229 Pine St., died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.

She was born in Eric, Okla., on Feb. 23, 1911, to the late Dr. William T. and Gertrude W. (Womack).

On Aug. 19, 1930, she married Kenneth Trigg, who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1984.

She was a homemaker and the oldest member of the First Christian Church. She taught Sunday school and was involved in the junior department at the church. She had been an active member of the Ferrell Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Her life was devoted to Christ as he gave her comfort throughout her life.

LaHoma is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Janet Davis of Eldorado; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Tierney of Eldorado, Robert Trigg Tierney of Mount Vernon, Dirk (Linda) Tierney of Suwanee, Ga., and Josh (Darci) Davis of Boyton Beach, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle J. and Quinn E. Davis of Boyton Beach, Fla.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James T. Warford; a sister, Grace E. (Warford) Sutton; and a son-in-law, Don Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home and burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church or the Eldorado Memorial Library and left at the funeral home.
