Robert Will

Robert Paul "Bob" Will, 84, of Harrisburg, formerly of Equality, passed away at 9:10 p.m.on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

Will was born in Newburgh, Ind. on Jan/ 19, 1932, the son of Henry Sylvester and Pauline Esther (Wilsbacher) Will.

He was a farmer in the Equality area and a faithful member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church of Ridgway. He was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Equality McLain-Glover American Legion Post 595 and also of VFW Post 5508.

Will married Keiko Mary Suzuki in Yokosuka, Japan on Aug.6, 1955. They celebrated their 61st year of marriage this last August.

Survivors include his loving wife, Keiko Will, of Harrisburg; one daughter, Jennifer and Vince Baker of St. Peters, Mo., three sons, John and Judy Will of Ridgway, Dennis and Anna Will of San Diego, Calif, Kevin Will of Equality; three sisters, Sister Theresine Will OSB, Judy Vogler of Jeffersonville, Ind., Elaine and Bill Pokorney of Evansville, Ind.; six brothers, Ramon and Sylvia Will of Newburgh, Ind., Leo and Mary Ellen Will, Donald and Kathy Will, Cyril and Pat Will, Marvin and Yvonne Will , Mike Will, all of Evansville, Ind..

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Martha Schnur, and one brother, Edward Will.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, in St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway with Father Steven Beatty officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery near Equality. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Vickery Funeral Home in Ridgway with a rosary at 7 p.m.
