Margaret Laverne Fisk

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret Laverne Fisk, 76, of Harrisburg passed away at 9:12 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born on Nov. 9, 1933, in Saline County to the late Virgil and Sarah Jane (English) Hamilton. On May 22, 1987, she married George Allen Fisk and he survives.

Margaret was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church, and a member of the Saline County Home Extension.

Surviving family members include her husband, George Fisk of Harrisburg; three sons, Rick (Connie) Milligan of Harrisburg, Scott (Sherry) Milligan of Harrisburg and Jim (Teresa) Milligan of Harrisburg; stepdaughter, Georgiann Fisk of Harrisburg; sister, Mary Fowler of Romeoville; five grandchildren, Autumn Milligan, Chrystal Grant, Justin and Alicia Milligan, Eric Milligan and Joanna Fisk; six great-grandchildren, Garrett Grant, Cameron Milligan, Jailynn Milligan, Jaxten Milligan, Kaylee Murray and Nick Murray.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kay Shover and Peggy Hamilton, and a half-brother, Sam Woods.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. John Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
