OBITUARY: Dathen Pulliam Genet

Dathen Pulliam Genet, 87 of Eldorado, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, in Evansville, Ind.

She was born in Eldorado on June 27, 1927. Dathen was member of the Mt. Pleasant Social Brethren Church and she worked for Food Center in Eldorado for over 30 years.

She is survived by a stepson, Charles W. Genet Sr. of Decatur, and some stepgrandsons and great-stepgrandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Ray (Wilma) Pulliam of Harrisburg and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1996, her mother Nola (Poppins) Pulliam and four brothers: Dalton, Don, Denzil and Stan Pulliam.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Mark Finnie officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Social Brethren Church and may be left at the funeral home.
