Mary Alice Swaggirt

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Alice Swaggirt, 76, of Salem, Ky., formerly of Harrisburg went home to meet her Lord at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010.

She left behind many who loved her and will miss her dearly.

The daughter of George and Faye (Cosseboone) Cullum, she was born Mary Alice Cullum on March 25, 1934, in Harrisburg. She married Charlie Benton Swaggirt, and to this union three sons were born, Steven Ray, Rodger Dean and Robert Darrell Swaggirt.

Surviving are her sons, Steven Ray Swaggirt of Salem, Ky., and Rodger Dean Swaggirt and his wife Yvonne of Salem, Ky.; also, four grandchildren, Matthew Swaggirt of Raleigh, Honney Swaggirt of Eldorado and Wesley and Amanda Swaggirt of Equality. She also had eight great-grandchildren, Ashley Crist of Equality, Tristen Collins, Tyler and Trey Swaggirt and Ivan Swaggirt, all of Eldorado, Charlie Lane of Herod and Trenton and Emily Swaggirt of Equality.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Swaggirt; and son, Robert Darrell Swaggirt; two sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation for Mary will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
