Wanda E. Orr
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Wanda E. Orr, 86, of Eldorado, passed away unexpectedly at 8:39 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
She was the widow of Fred Orr.
Wanda was born in Meyer on Sept. 4, 1923, the daughter of the late Otto and Melinda Belle "Molly" (Eagleson) Benson.
She was a dedicated member of Star General Baptist Church.
Wanda had given loving care to many children in her home over the years.
Wanda is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Loren) Morris of Eldorado and Donna Moore of Carterville; grandchildren, Kevin (Carla) Morris, Cheryl (Dwain) Stanberry, Kim (Bryan) Brewer, Tammy (Wally) McMichels, Nathan (Kristina) Scott, Michael Scott, Chris (Lauren) Scott; great-grandchildren, Wes Morris, Andrea Morris, Justin Hilligoss, Travis Hilligoss, Ashley Brewer, Brandon Brewer, Bryce Brewer, Danielle Scott and Callie Scott; five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd (Pat) Benson of Evansville, Ind., and Charles (Ernestine) Benson of Florida; sister-in-law, Virginia Gibbs of Eldorado; and son-in-law, John Gwaltney of Edmunson, Mo.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Sue Gwaltney; two brothers, Clinton and Owen; and a grandson, Curtis Gwaltney.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Star General Baptist Church with Aaron Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wanda's Sunday School Class, the Action Class. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
