Royal Rush Burnell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Royal Rush Burnell, 92, of Eldorado, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at his residence.

He was the husband of Dolores (Gill) Burnell, who survives.

Royal was born in Dundas on Sept. 13, 1917, the son of the late Lynn and Maude (Wilhite) Burnell.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a driver for Greyhound Lines.

Royal is survived by a daughter, Lynne (Wade) Pemberton of Eldorado; a son, Jerry (Kay) Burnell of Noble; four grandchildren, Jana Miller of Noble, Jennifer (Jeremy) Brown of Noble, Brandi (Wayne) Bradley of Carrier Mills and Jamie (Brian) Davies of Harrisburg; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Bane; a sister, Bonnie Wertz; and three brothers, Ray, Ralph and Howard.

Royal was cremated at his request. There will be no public services. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
