Genell 'Gwin' McDonald

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Genell "Gwin" McDonald, 75, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born March 12, 1935, in Harrisburg.

Genell was a homemaker. She enjoyed being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a member of Worldwide Church of God.

At the age of 74, she completed her GED.

Genell was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard "Big Mac" McDonald, who died in 2005.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Hunter of Galatia; granddaughter, Melissa Kress of Eldorado; granddaughter, Bonnie Williams of Eldorado; five great-grandchildren, Kody, Dominic, Isaiah, Lucas and Trinity; sister, Floetta Dowdy of Harrisburg; brother, Jack Gwin of Michigan; and nieces and nephews.

Chapel services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Woodland Memorial Gardens in Paducah, Ky., officiated by the Rev. Jack Gwin with burial to follow. Arrangements are in the charge of Alexander Funeral Home, Evansville, Ind.
