</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Gertie Myers, 63, 801 Sahara St., Harrisburg, died 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at Shawnee Rose Care Center, Harrisburg.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Farr officiating. Visitation is 9 a.m. Thursday at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Harrisburg to the late Otto Myers and Eula Edwards. She married Jerry Myers, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherri Lynn (Bobby) Casteel of Golconda; two sisters, Wanda Huff of Carrier Mills and Georgia Stevers of Moline; and two grandchildren, Leonard Preston "P.J." Davis and Elizabeth Ann Grabber.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Myers and Jerry M. Myers Jr.
