Jerry Fromm

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jerry Fromm, 65, lifelong resident of Ridgway died Thursday, March 25, 2010, in St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Ind., after an extended illness.

Jerry was born on Jan. 13, 1945, to the late Edward and Stella (Raben) Fromm, on the family farm northeast of Ridgway in Asbury Township. Jerry was a farmer most of life, but also was well known for many years with Fromm Bros. BBQ. He loved to hunt, cook, help people, loved to dance and always had a smile and kind word for you. He was a faithful member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a fourth degree member. Jerry was a good man, brother, uncle, son and friend. He will be greatly missed by the area.

Jerry is survived by his three brothers, David (Margie) Fromm of Ridgway, Joseph (Jane) Fromm of Ridgway and Carl (Sallie) Fromm of Columbia, Mo. He is also survived by his sweetheart, Anna Jo Cox of Ridgway along with her daughters, Ceason Middleton and Karen Cox and two special little ones, Tucker and Piper Middleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Fromm.

Visitation for Jerry was from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway. A prayer service was conducted at 5:30 p.m. and a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Chalice service was held at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass for Jerry was held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway with Fr. Mark Stec officiating. Interment followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
