Calvin H. Bruce

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Calvin H. Bruce, 72, of Harrisburg passed away 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was born Dec. 27, 1937, the son of LaPrell and Carlene Boyden Bruce. On April 1, 1987 he married Georgia Sneed at Forrest City Ark., and she survives. He was a retired auto salesman and Baptist by faith.

Surviving are his wife, Georgia, two sons, Calvin H. Bruce Jr., Johnson City, S.C. and Kevin Hunter Bruce, Forrest City, Ark.; two daughters, Lisa Brown, North Augusta, Ga. and Kathy Bruce, Buffalo, N.Y.; two stepsons, Robert D. and Kathy Shipley of Bloomfield, Ind. and Kevin Wayne Shipley of Bloomfield, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Barbara K. Shipley, Bloomington, Ind. and Melissa Hall, Newberry, Ind.; three sisters; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Emil Herzog and the Rev. Gaylon Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lindale Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the funeral home.
