A funeral Mass will be said 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Church in Piopolis with Msgr. Joseph Lawler and Fr. Slawomir Ptak officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Piopolis. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2010, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with a Rosary service at 7:45 p.m.

She was the widow of Herman Wellen. She is survived by a son, a daughter-in-law, two daughters, a son-in-law, a sister, two sisters-in-law, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
