Anna Jean 'Annie' Gasaway
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Anna Jean (Annie) Gasaway, 87, of Eldorado (formerly of Saline Ave.), passed away at 5:35 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at Fountainview Nursing Home.
She was the widow of Doug Gasaway. They were married Oct. 26, 1946.
Anna was born in Eldorado on April 2, 1922, the daughter of the late George and Jean (Walker) Fry.
She worked as a retail sales clerk prior to retirement.
Anna is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Ronnie) Hise of Eldorado; one grandaughter, Kristin (Brock) Stevens of Raleigh; two great-granddaughters, Haley and Hunter; a brother, Bill (Laverne) Fry of Eldorado; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Fry of Eldorado and Effie Fry of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annie was preceded in death by two brothers, George Fry Jr. and Joe Fry; and two sisters, Mary Rodgers and Nellie Fry.
Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, with the Rev. Walter Baker officiating. Burial will be in Webber Campground Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Webber Campground Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
