Obituary: Helen (Hunsinger) Stump
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen (Hunsinger) Stump, 89, Harrisburg, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Helia Healthcare of Benton.
Helen was born on Sunday, March 19, 1922, in Saline County to the late Owen and Cora (Merritt) Hunsinger. She married John C. Stump on Oct. 19, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1992. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg. She worked as a secretary and worked at Bowen's IGA, where she was retired from. She was active in the Harrisburg Township High School Class of 1940 Dinner Group.
Helen is survived by a son, Ken Stump and wife Hollie of Albany, Ga.; daughter, Ellen Conci and husband Frank of Mulkeytown; four grandchildren, Brandi Bills and husband Drew of Avon, Ind., Mandt Stump of Albany, Ga., Mena O'Connor and husband Matt of Chesterfield, Mo. and Lafe Stump and wife Laura of Albany, Ga.; five great-grandchildren, Fagan O'Connor, Blair O'Connor, Dax Bills, Brittain Bills and Sidney Bills; a nephew, Kevin Hunsinger and wife Julie of Franklin, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Robert Hunsinger and Owen "Bus" Hunsinger; and a sister, Lucille Barrett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Judith Beyler will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
