</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Myrna Joyce Grace Lindsay, 66, of 119-B W. Wilson Ave., Shawneetown, passed away at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at the Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville, Ind.

She was born on Oct. 3, 1943, in Shawneetown, to Clyde Alvin and Ruby M. (Awalt) Grace. Myrna was married to Trendel Lindsay on Aug. 5, 1961.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Carrier Mills.

Myrna is survived by husband, the Rev. Trendel Lindsay of Shawneetown; a daughter, Zandra and the Rev. Charles Waggoner of Centralia; three sons, Deon and Kim Lindsay of McLeansboro, Leon Lindsay of Equality and Daryl Lindsay of Crystal City, Mo.; two sisters, Amy and Paul David Ellis of Shawneetown and Sue and Melvin Thomas of Taylorville; three brothers, Richard Grace of Shawneetown, Bill Grace of Carbondale and Bobbie Grace of San Marcos, Cal.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; a daughter, Cheryl Lindsay; two sisters, Opal Morrison and Jean Bankert; and three brothers, Clyde, Howard and James Grace.

Visitation for Myrna will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Morse officiating. Burial will be at Cottage Grove Cemetery near Equality.
