Dorothea Elizabeth Wilson
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothea Elizabeth Wilson, 90, of Fort Smith, Ark. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009.
She was born Nov. 25, 1919, near Ridgway to Jonathan A. and Effie Ellen Murphy Cox. She got her GED at age 50 and taught young ladies to get their GED at Mt. Vernon, Indiana. She worked several years at Dillard's Department Store in Fort Smith, Ark., in the ladies dress department when she retired.
A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Cliff Terrace Assembly of God in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. David Rhoads officiating. Graveside services will be held Dec. 27, 2009, at Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.
She is survived by her daughter, Deanna E. Parks of Fort Smith, Ark.; two sons, James Gary Wilson of Norris City and Dr. Larry E. Wilson of Rushville; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cliff Terrace Assembly of God Maintenance Fund, 3301 S. 66th St., Fort Smith, Ark. 72903.
Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado is in charge of local arrangements.
