Youlanda Ledbetter

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Youlanda Ledbetter, 85, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

She was born in Elizabethtown Feb. 25, 1924, to Chester and Ida Mae Shipp Martin. She was married to John L. Ledbetter, who preceded her in death in 2001. She was a member of the Miracle Temple Church in Wasson.

Survivors include one sister, Patricia Chittenden of Rosiclare, five grandchildren, Michelle Ledbetter of Carrier Mills, Tina Foster of Nokomis, Shannon Jones of Harrisburg, Megan Smith of Galatia and Justin Ledbetter of Golconda; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Robert Ledbetter; and one brother, Everett Martin.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. R. J. Walls officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at the funeral home.
