</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Evelyn M. Caldwell, 68, rural Wayne City, died 6:33 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Mount Vernon.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery near Wayne City. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Caldwell; a son; a stepson; three daughters; a stepdaughter; two brothers; a sister; and a grandson.
