Glenn Bosaw

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Glenn Bosaw, 83, 349 Davis Ave., Omaha, passed away at 2:32 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

He was born on Nov. 14, 1926, in New Haven to Andrew and May (Dagley) Bosaw. Glenn married Mary Ann Wallace on Sept. 4, 1951.

He was a retired U.S. Army sergeant and served his country during World War II. He a was member of Disabled American Veterans of Mount Vernon, New Haven Legion Post No. 1141, and lifetime member of Carmi VFW Post No. 3851. He was also a member of the May Masonic Lodge of Norris City, 50-year Mason and a Kentucky Colonel.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bosaw of Omaha; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Rosa, Beulah, Edith and Pearl; and five brothers, Lawrence, Vaughn, Cecil, Hodge and John William Bosaw.

Visitation for Glenn will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, with Masonic rites at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, with the Rev. Blaine Felty officiating. Burial will be at Palestine Two Cemetery with military rites by New Haven Legion Post No. 1141.
