</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Gilbert J. "Jimmy" Karcher, 86, McLeansboro, died 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at Riverview Apartments in East Peoria.

<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Times;">Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis with Msgr. Joseph Lawler and Fr. Jim Sauer officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ceremony. Military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post No. 106 of McLeansboro. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, with prayer service at 7 p.m.</span>
