Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at University Hills Baptist Church, Denver, Colo. Graveside services will be held noon Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating and military rites by American Legion Post No. 106 of McLeansboro. Arrangements are in the charge of Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 at Harre Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; a daughter; three sons; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
