Judith Ann Gulledge

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009, for Judith Ann Gulledge, who died May 28, 2009, in the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gulledge was born in Harrisburg on Nov. 10, 1946, to Grace and Frances Whitlow.

She was pianist at New Castle Baptist Church, of which she was a member.

A longtime resident of Galatia, she was employed by Oglesby's Grocery and as a school bus aide.

Mrs. Gulledge is survived by a daughter, Becky (Mike) Jackson; son, Doug Richardson; grandchildren, Kristin and Ashley Hankins and Cassie and Carlie Richardson; stepgrandchildren, Jared Karlie and Madison Jackson and Celiece Peckinpaugh; the following brothers and sisters, Mary Brogan and Joyce Browning and Connie Sherrod of Harrisburg, Robert (Donna) Whitlow of Belleville, Charles (Brenda) Whitlow of New Athens, James (Becky) Whitlow of Patton, Jerry Whitlow of Sebree, Ky., Darlene Killiam of Madisonville, Ky., Wanda (Jeff) Donithan of Robards, Ky., Lisa (Jerry) Hutcheson of Dale, Thelma Tate of Mountain Home, Ark., Billie Joe (Bob) Boyd of Cash Ark.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Gulledge was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Linda; half-brothers, Buddy and Lloyd; and half-sister, Mary Frances.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with the Rev. Mr. Jim Williams officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009.

Interment will follow services at Coal Bank Cemetery in Crab Orchard.
