OBITUARY: Barbara Lee Barmes

Barbara Lee Barmes, 45 of Harrisburg, died at her residence Friday, July 18, 2014.

She was born in Rochester, Mich., Feb. 2, 1969, to Victor Eugene Wood and Phyllis (Ayotte) Hetterscheidt. She was a homemaker. She loves her family and she loved swimming. She was loved by everyone she met.

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Johnson of Tunnel Hill and Rene (Keith) Karns of Harrisburg; a brother, James (Margaret) Kukuk of Omaha; her nieces and nephews, Josh Kukuk, Jason (Brittney) Kukuk, Jamie Kukuk, Jimmy Kukuk, Kelly Kukuk, Bob Land, Eric (Brittney) Hopkins and Jason (Stephanie) Ghent. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special friends: Sharon Karns, Chuck and Minda Fitzpatric and Gary and Linda Ralston.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Kukuk; and a special friend, Dixie Ralston.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated. Watson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
