Virgle E. Yahne
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Virgle E. Yahne, 85, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Carrier Mills, died 5:07 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Superior Care, Paducah, Ky.
He was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Stonefort to Roy and Pearl Middleton Yahne. On Nov. 25, 1942, he married Maggie Barnett, who survives.
He was a retired United Mine Workers of America coal miner and a member of Blazing Star Lodge No. 458 in Carrier Mills.
In addition to his wife, Maggie Yahne, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dan (Louise) Yahne of Benton, Ky.; a granddaughter and husband, Tonya (Richard) Shea of Benton, Ky.; and a great-grandson, Daniel Shea.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Louise Railey.
Graveside services will precede burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Chris Winkleman officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is entrusted with the arrangements.
The family prefers memorials to Superior Care House Resident Council, 3100 Clay St., Paducah, Ky. 42001. Envelopes will be available at the graveside service.
