Margerine 'Margie' Stilley
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margerine "Margie" Stilley, 85, of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1923, in Saline County to the late Albert and Anna (Adkinson) Williams. In 1942, she married Elmer Stilley and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1975.
Margie was a nurse at Pearce Hospital until it closed, and then a clerk at Ben Franklin until retirement. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving family members include a son, Marlin Stilley and companion, Marie Vessels of Haubstadt, Ind.; daughter, Kay Watson of Marion; grandchildren, Josh Stilley of Evansville, Ind, Michael Watson of Hillsboro and Brian Watson of Marion; great-grandchildren, Alex and Morgan Watson of Hillsboro, Kaitlyn and Kelsey Watson of Marion; brother, Estelle Williams of Pontiac, Mich.; and a sister, Imogene Andrews of Evansville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Lowell Stilley; brothers and sisters, Verbal Wallace, Jimmy Williams, Bracherd Williams and Wilmar "Sleepy" Williams.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Coffee Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Williams will officiate. Those wishing to attend should gather at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the charge of Reed Funeral Chapel, Harrisburg.
