Harrisburg area Memorial Day events

Harrisburg

The George Hart American Legion Post No. 167 will host its annual Memorial Day program 10 a.m. at Sunset Lawn Cemetery. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to 600 E. Logan St.

Carrier Mills

The American Legion Post 364 will host events on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. A local pastor will start each ceremony with a prayer, and post members will proceed with honor guard details. The post will host events at 10 a.m. at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, at 10:30 a.m. at Ledford Cemetery, at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery and at 11:30 a.m. at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Public is welcome to attend.

Eldorado

10:45 a.m. Pick up flags at VFW, assemble in front of the American Legion post and march to Old City Hall. 11 a.m. Memorial Day Program at Old City Hall Veterans Monument. Public is welcome to attend. In case of inclement weather, it will be held at the Eldorado Saline Post #3479.
