Myrtle M. Hale

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Myrtle M. Hale, 76, of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2009, at her residence in Harrisburg.

She was born May 29, 1932, in Golconda to the late Troy Howard and Nancy Della (Martin) Brush. On March 31, 1949, she married Jesse Edward Hale and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2003.

Myrtle was retired from the cap factory, where she was a visor breaker.

Surviving family members include two sons, Dennis Hale and wife Kathy of Eldorado and Terry Hale and wife Pam of Harrisburg; sister, Phyllis Dunlap and husband Jerry of Pilot Knob, Mo.; brother, Troy Brush, Jr. of Nashville, Mich.; sister, Sandra Sue Stacy and husband Fred of Harrisburg; sister, Carolyn Moore and husband Bill of Lincoln; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Hale of Harrisburg, and LaVerne Hale-Hyers of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Shayn, Christina, Heather, Jessica and Patrick; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jadelynn, Tylar, Maison, Lylli and Dacey.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Troy and Selma Brush and Nancy and Herbert Martin; brothers, Ralph Eugene Brush and Kenny Ray Boyd; and a sister, Betty Schmitt.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Nyberg will officiate. Burial will follow in Colbert Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
