</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alta Marie Odell, 97, of McLeansboro, died 2:55 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009, at Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center, McLeansboro.

Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Ruby McDowell and the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation was noon to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

She was the widow of Leland Bond, Jack McMahon and Orndolph Odell. She is survived by three special nieces, several other nieces and nephews and three stepchildren.
