Opal Martin Peterson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Opal Martin Peterson, 98, of 901 Madison St., Eldorado, died 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at Fountain View Nursing Home.

Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. David Mays officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

She was born March 2, 1910, in Wasson to Claud and Bertha (Read) Martin.

She was a factory worker at Zenith Carburetor and a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by a brother, Loral Martin of Eldorado; a sister, Emma Lou Kennedy of Indiana; and two cousins who took care of her, Wanda (Doyle) Houston of Eldorado and Pete Read of Benton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Alexander.
