Two from Du Quoin among 19 under federal indictment in meth drug sweep
Two Du Quoin residents have been indicted in a sweeping Southern Illinois methamphetamine drug investigation conducted by the Illinois State Police in concert with the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force and several individual agencies.
Kevin Spurlock, 42, and Regina K. Spurlock, 41, could face up to 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
The 19 southern Illinois residents were indicted in federal court in Benton.

Jason K. Wells, 30, of Marion
Weldon A. Poole, 29, of Marion
Amber D. Mulkins, 31, of Marion
Kathryn Ann Medlin, 43, of Thompsonville
Two charged in the indictments have not yet been taken into custody.
The investigation in these cases was conducted by the Illinois State Police, Southern Illinois Drug Task Force, United States Marshals Service, Franklin County Sheriff's Office, West City Police Department, Christopher Police Department, Zeigler Police Department, Sesser Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Jackson County State's Attorney, Franklin County State's Attorney, Williamson County Sheriff's Department, Southern Illinois Drug Enforcement Group, Pope County Sheriff's Office, and the Pope County State's Attorney.
