James Franklin Harris
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James Franklin Harris, 73, 27 Black Oak, Ward, Ark., formerly of Harrisburg, died 9 a.m. Jan. 25, 2009, at Allegiance Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernie Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at the funeral home.
He was born July 17, 1935, in Harrisburg to Clyde and Maxine (Fogarty) Harris. He is married to Sophie Harris. From May 25, 1955, to Aug. 3, 1998, he was married to Mary Joyce Harris.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Roberson Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Keith (Judy) Harris of Albright, W.Va.; two daughters, Kay (Keith) Summerlin of Cabot, Ark., and Terrie Harris of Jacksonville, Ark.; three grandchildren, Nikole, Eric and Aaron Summerlin; and six stepchildren, Harrell, Becky, Mike, Charles, Johnny and Monica.
