Judith Royce Jackson
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Judith Royce Jackson, 72, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was born on June 14, 1937, in Harrisburg to the late John W. and Helen M. (Cline) Belt. She married Joe M. Jackson and he preceded her in death.
Judith received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois in 1959. She was a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a former chapter ZPEO member and a faithful member of her Sunday school class at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving members include two daughters, Jeannie Ingrum of Mahomet and Jamie Jackson of Hokes Bluff, Ala.; a son, Mike (Becky) Jackson of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Tyler Ingrum of O'Fallon, Katie Ingrum of Chicago, Kelsey Ingrum of Mahomet, Heather (Mark) Shelton of Evansville, Ind., Hollie Gibbs of Harrisburg, Jared Jackson, Karlie Jackson, Madison Jackson, Kristin Hankins and Ashley Hankins; and great-grandchildren, Tryscity Shelton and RaeLeigh Shelton.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah DeLong.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Blaine Welker officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Reed Funeral Chapel; envelopes will be made available at the church.
