OBITUARY: Donald Baker Hall

Donald Baker Hall, age 89 of Harrisburg, passed away at 2 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado.

Donald was born on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1924, to the late Enoch and Cora (Baker) Hall. Donald married Pearl Lane in 1946 and she preceded him in death in 1989. Donald was a member of Ingram Hill Baptist Church and the Town and Country Lions Club.

Donald is survived by a daughter, Ann Porter and husband Don of Equality; son, Don Hall and wife Brenda of Harrisburg; son, Kenny Hall and wife Cindy of Eddyville; daughter, Martha Hall of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife; Pearl; parents, Enoch and Cora Hall; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Donald Baker Hall were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Leroy Hicks officiated and burial followed in Ingram Hill Cemetery. Visitation was 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Donald's honor and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
