Obituary: Frank Eugene Von Lienen

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Frank Eugene Von Lienen of Harrisburg passed away 3:23 a.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Frank was born Jan. 1, 1945, in Detroit, Mich. to Eugene and Gertrude Warren Von Lienen. He was married to Marla Bethel, who survives. Also surviving are six sons, Frank (Dawn) Von Lienen Jr. of Holly Springs, N.C., Jeff Von Lienen of Greenfield Center, N.C., Jim (Dawn) Von Lienen of Argyle, N.Y., Greg (Sanai) Von Lienen of Argyle, N.Y., Brad Goldman of Harrisburg and Kevin (Tina) Goldman of Hewitt, Texas; one daughter, Stacy Goldman of Harrisburg; two sisters, Susie and Wayne Woods and Bertha and Ted Slater, both of Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Emma Louise Lane.

Frank was a very caring loving husband, father and pawpaw. He enjoyed life and being around his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He had a good heart and would do for you. Frank will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Those who knew and dealt with him realized very quickly that they had a good friend and he would never steer them wrong.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Porter officiating. Burial will be in the Blockhouse Cemetery near Rudement. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
