OBITUARY: Machaela Ann Gould

Machaela Ann Gould, age 18 of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:56 p.m. June 22, 2014, in Carrier Mills.

Machaela was born on Jan. 20, 1996, to Scott and Connie (Whitlow) Sherrod of Harrisburg. She married John Gould on June 21, 2014, and he survives in Omaha. She was a member of the Church of God of Eldorado.

Machaela is survived by her husband, John of Omaha; parents, Scott and Connie Sherrod of Harrisburg; brother, Joe Sherrod of Harrisburg; brother, Jimmy Sherrod of Harrisburg; sister, Amanda Cooper and husband Jared of Eldorado; father and mother-in-law, Sam and Melody Gould of Omaha; sister-in-law, Kiley Gould of Omaha; grandpa and G-ma, Dan and Debbie Sherrod of Harrisburg; John's grandparents, Bill and Martha Betz of Eldorado; aunt and uncle, Mitzi and Steve Hale of Eldorado; nieces and nephews, Ryder Cooper, Hogan Cooper, Lillie Cooper and Emmaleigh Sherrod; and dog, Sammy Jo.

Machaela was preceded in death by her grandma, Shirley Sherrod; and grandma and grandpa, Francis and Grace Whitlow.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Cliff Barger will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
