OBITUARY: Ruby Nell Williford

Ruby Nell Williford, 89 of Eldorado, died Monday, June 23, 2014, at the Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.

She was born on Eldorado on July 28, 1924, to the late Thomas Mark and Lula Agnes (Cox) Skelton. She was a member of the Eldorado Church of God where she was a faithful member until her health prevented her from attending. She assisted her husband Ike in the operation and ownership of Martin Funeral Home and Magnolia Shelter Care in Eldorado for many years.

On Dec. 13, 1949, she married Ike Williford and he preceded her death on Feb. 20, 2006. Ruby is survived by her son, Winthrop Williford of Equality; and her four grandchildren: Dillon (Jade) Williford of Harrisburg, Angela (Rob) Counts of Peoria, Taylor Brianne Williford of Equality and Lacey LeAnne Williford of Equality. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren: Holden, Landon, Braden, Bella, Cole, Calabe and Cooper. She was preceded in death by four brothers; and seven sisters.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
