Man wanted in New York for allegedly kidnapping his sons was seen in Peoria

<p align="justify">A man wanted in New York for allegedly kidnapping his two sons was spotted in Peoria on Friday.

<p align="justify">Natan Horowitz, 37, also known as Nathan Horowitz, "quickly and suspiciously" checked out of a Peoria hotel Friday morning after police were called there on another, unrelated matter.

<p align="justify">Horowitz checked in April 1 under the name Sammy Baker, accompanied by the boys, Joseph, 5, and Michael, 3.

<p align="justify">

<p align="justify">Employees at the hotel, which was not named by police, became suspicious of Horowitz's actions and checked a Web site on missing children for information.

<p align="justify">

<p align="justify">Horowitz, described as a white man, 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, is wanted on a New York State Supreme Court warrant for non-custodial parental abduction.

<p align="justify">

<p align="justify">Joseph is described as 3-foot-9, 50 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. He had a blue, full-length cast on his right arm.

<p align="justify">Michael has brown hair and brown eyes, weighs 35 pounds and is 3 feet tall.

<p align="justify">Horowitz was last seen driving a gray 1997 four-door Buick LeSabre with New York plates DYP1887.

<p align="justify">Anyone spotting the trio or the car is asked to call local authorities.
