Looking Up: Night sky can connect you with troops overseas

Did anyone catch the moon Tuesday night (April 8)? From Wayne County, Pa., where this column originates, the sky was wonderfully clear. As twilight fell, the gleaming crescent moon stood boldly halfway up in the west, with earthshine plainly filling in the darkened disc inside the bright crescent.
