Lieberman: I won't be McCain's VP

U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., said Friday he has no interest in being vice president on the McCain ticket or in accepting a cabinet post should the Arizona Republican win the presidency in November.

"I'm not supporting John with the hope of getting anything else," Lieberman said at a meeting of the Norwich Bulletin's editorial board Friday afternoon. "When I decided to endorse him I didn't think he'd win (the Republican nomination)."
