Paul Walker's Mother Seeks Guardianship of His Daughter
Paul Walker's mother has filed for guardianship of the late actor's 15-year-old daughter Meadow, People reports.
In the documents, Cheryl Walker claims that Meadow's mother, Rebecca Jo Soteros, has an alcohol problem and therefore "parental custody would be detrimental to the minor."

Cheryl Walker also states that she should be Meadow's guardian because she is "a loving and responsible person. She works as a registered nurse. She has raised her own four children," according to papers obtained by People. Cheryl Walker, Meadow and Soteros currently live together in Los Angeles. Meadow grew up with her mother in Hawaii, but has been living with her grandmother since August 2012.
As previously reported, Walker's will bestowed a trust to his daughter worth $16 million, with the stipulation that his mother be named Meadow's guardian. A hearing on Cheryl Walker's petition is set for April 30.
The Fast and the Furious star and his friend Roger Rodas died in late November in a fiery car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif., when the Porsche Carrera GT they were in collided into a tree and a light pole. Walker will appear posthumously in Fast & Furious 7, which hits theaters on April 10, 2015.
