Looking Up: Robots and green stars

The Space Shuttle Endeavor is delivering a "giant robot" to the International Space Station. Forgive me for a bit of digression, but thoughts of "Danger, Will Robinson" ("Lost in Space" robot) as well as the accented comments of C3PO (the golden robot in "Star Wars") come to mind. Then there's Robbie the Robot (1956 movie "Forbidden Planet" and many other films).
