State police have subpoenaed Drew Peterson's two teenage sons to appear before the grand jury investigation into the disappearance of Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, and the March 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, it was reported Friday, Feb. 29. The boys, Savio's sons, were scheduled to testify in front of the grand jury Feb. 28 but the appearance was canceled.

An event Sunday, March 2, to raise money for the search for Stacy Peterson brought in more than $11,000. The fundraiser was organized by the group Friends of Stacy Peterson, which has applied for nonprofit status. About 300 people attended the event, which featured live music, food, auctions and raffles.

On Tuesday, March 4, Stacy Peterson's family announced they had received a $10,000 donation to go toward the reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Peterson. The donation brings the reward to $35,000. The family has not revealed the source of the money.

Drew Peterson attained a lawyer to represent his two sons subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury, according to reports Wednesday, March 5. The lawyer filed paperwork to stall the boys' scheduled testimony Thursday, March 6. It is not clear if and when the boys will testify.

Looking ahead: Drew Peterson is expected to appear in court Monday, March 17, to hear the conditions he must agree to before he is allowed to regain possession of several items seized by police. The items include several computers and two vehicles. The judge also ruled that Peterson could have back 11 seized guns but that ruling was rendered moot when state police revoked Peterson's firearm owner's identification card. A hearing on a petition by Savio's family to reopen her estate is also set for March 17. Four members of Savio's family have asked to have the estate reopened in preparation for a possible wrongful death lawsuit against Drew Peterson.
