Video: Maple sugar days at Blue Hills farm and Moose Hill in Sharon
Those with a sweet tooth will have a decision to make this weekend, when the Blue Hills Reservation and Mass Audubon will hold maple sugaring events in Canton and Sharon.
Maple Sugar Days will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Brookwood Farm in Canton.
Participants will meet at the Houghtons Pond parking area at 840 Hillside St. A free shuttle bus will take visitors to the farm.
Visitors will follow the process of maple sugaring from tapping a tree to sampling maple syrup on pancakes. Costumed characters will give a history of maple sugaring from Native American methods to Yankee farmers to modern technology.

Mass. Audubon will hold its annual Maple Sugaring Festival this Sunday and March 15-16 at the Moose Hill sanctuary.
Ninety-minute guided tours will leave every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers will portray characters from the past attending to their daily chores, including making maple syrup.
The tour will end at the sugarhouse, where sap is turned into syrup. Pancakes, sap dogs and maple popcorn will be sold at the Nature Center.
Admission is $7 in advance or $8 at the door, and free for children under 3. For more infiormation, call 781-784-5691. The sanctuary is at 293 Moose Hill St., about 1.5 miles west of the MBTA station.
