Du Quoin Library of Arts to host pumpkin painting Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Du Quoin Library of Arts will be decorating pumpkins on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to paint your pumpkin. Walk-ins are welcome.

The cost is $5 that will include a pumpkin and supplies to decorate your pumpkin.

When finished, you may take your pumpkin home or enter it in the Du Quoin Public Library decorating contest.

Whether you decorate your pumpkin at the Library of Arts or at home, you should enter your pumpkin in the Du Quoin Public Library decorating contest. You are encouraged to decorate your pumpkin as a character from a book.

Bring in your pumpkin by Wednesday, Oct. 22. The winner will receive a $20 Amazon gift card and a library bag full of books and candy.
