Cubs notebook: How bad is Wrigley's outfield? ‘Really bad'

Some think Wrigley Field is like a cow pasture. Others think it's like a monster truck arena.

This week, disgruntled outfielders from visiting teams are having issues with the Wrigley Field field. On Wednesday night, Cincinnati left fielder Adam Dunn blamed the bad conditions of the outfield after teammate Ken Griffey Jr. suffered a season-ending abdominal injury. Dunn said it was worse than playing in a parking lot and said the field "looks like they had a monster truck rally" on it and had potholes, and he deemed it "unsafe."
