Fall Arts Preview: CDs

Make sound investments with CDs: Edgy and indie work dominates the fall release schedule

This fall album release schedule has something for everyone. There are new Best-of albums (Faith Hill and Led Zeppelin), return of indie favorites (Ani DiFranco, Iron & Wine), surprises (Matchbox Twenty, Wu-Tang Clan) and a ridiculous drama (a presidential-style debate between 50 Cent and Kanye West on who has the better album).

Also in the pipeline is 9th Wonder's first solo effort since leaving hip-hop group Little Brother. Kid Rock's newest album has been garnering a lot of positive buzz. Indie-rock lovers will be salivating over a new Band of Horses and Fiery Furnaces (on the same day!). And Amy Winehouse's 2003 debut album is finally released in the States.

So, onward, music fanatics!
