OBITUARY: Lorene Watson

Lorene Watson, 85 of Eldorado, died May 28, 2014, at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.

She was born in Harrisburg on July 26, 1928, to the late Howard and Omly Marie (Todd) Dooley. She was attended the Eldorado Church of God and was a Homemaker. On Oct. 31, 1947, she married Daniel E. Watson and he preceded her in death on June 14, 2000.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Ricky) DeBose of Eldorado; three grandchildren: Kyle DeBose, Kelsey DeBose and Keisha DeBose; and a great-grandchild, Melanie DeBose. She is also survived by a brother, Earl Wayne Dooley of Columbia, Tenn.; and two sisters: Irene Hayes of Carmi and Phyllis Lassater of Ridgway.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Waldo Dooley; and a sister, Shirley Mae Fulkerson.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday until service time at the funeral home.
